6U - Co-ed Tee-Ball
Tee-ball introduces young players to the basics of baseball. Basic hitting, fielding, throwing, catching and running skills are emphasized. At this age group we allow 4 - 6 year olds to learn the game of baseball in a fun, non-competitive environment. Games are 2 innings in length. Outs and runs are not recorded and each team bats their entire lineup in each inning. At this age level, a coach will sit on a bucket 20 feet from home plate and give the player a chance to hit a pitched ball. If the player is not able to hit the ball after 6 pitches then we put the ball on a tee for the player to hit. A softer compression ball is used at this age level for the player's safety. Games are played on 50 foot bases.
