Practice & Games

Urbana Youth Cheer will start practicing for the fall season over the summer. Summer practice will be three times a week. Our practices will move to two days a week once school begins.

Our first game is usually the last weekend in August. Our game days and locations are determined by the Mountain Valley Youth Football League. Our closest game location is at Urbana High School, and they can go as far as South Hagerstown or Spring Mills, WV. A full list of locations can be found on the MVYFL website. Your coaches will have all game dates, times and locations uploaded into TeamSnap once the schedule has been released. Occasionally the league will make updates to the schedule due to weather related events. Your coaches will do their best to communicate this to you in a timely manner. They will also communicate game day information to you such as meeting/drop off spots, volunteer reminders, and game day attire.

All program athletes enter the games for free, but all spectators (including parents) must pay the field entrance fee. By paying and entering the field/stadium, you agree to the field/stadium terms for conduct and behavior. Entrance fees range by location but are typically cash only and $3 for individuals or $5 for families. During playoffs, the gate fees may increase by location.

Fall Practice: Each squad will post their practice dates & times in TeamSnap.
