About Our Program
Urbana Youth Football in affiliation with the Urbana Recreation Council (URC) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote, supervise, and voluntarily assist in providing a safe and secure recreational athletic environment for young people in the greater Southeastern Frederick County region.
Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, we will promote programs that emphasize physical and emotional development, build self-esteem, and cultivate a lifelong interest in sports, health and teamwork by espousing the virtues of character, integrity, and sportsmanship.
We are dedicated to the all-round development of young people and will encourage them to be better people, not just better athletes.

With a new year comes new opportunities and we are excited to announce that we have several new opportunities available on our leadership team. Below you will see links with job descriptions and applications to our 4 new positions: Fundraising and Events Director, Performance Director, Middle School Girls Flag Director, and Communications Director.

We feel that it is important to add additional resources to our team, so that we can better support our program with fun and new opportunities for our players, coaches and you, the parents. The deadline to apply to these positions is January 20th at which time, we will conduct interviews and make the selection based on who we feel will execute these duties to ensure our program continues to be successful. Our goal is to have all positions filled in early February which is when our first Mountain Valley Football League meeting takes place.
To anyone who is interested, please be advised, these are not in season positions only. Our program operates year-round so it requires individuals that are comfortable with attending monthly meetings and events that occur outside of the normal football season.
